Tell it in your own words.

This guide helps you shape your testimony as a personal story. Write sentences you would actually say to a friend. Your answers become a draft here on the page.

Your story may be a gradual journey.

If you trusted Jesus as a child, describe what you came to understand and how your faith became your own. There is no need to invent a rebellious past, unresolved doubt, or a single dramatic moment.

What makes a story helpful?

Give a little context, explain how you came to trust Jesus, and show one concrete change. Spend more time on God’s grace than on the details of your past.

Use everyday words. Instead of only saying “I was saved,” explain what you mean. Share what belongs to your story without exposing someone else’s private experiences.

You can leave any question blank if it does not fit. If you are still exploring faith or baptism, say that honestly and talk with a pastor about your next step.

Time estimates use 120–140 words per minute. Pauses and emotion change your pace; reading aloud is the best check.

Your words stay in this page unless you copy, print, or share them. “Save” stores one draft in this browser on this device. It does not send your story to FBC.
